I hate cleaning our glass top range. Spills cement themselves. No more since we got this jewel! In fact, it's like having extra counter space on the range top. Very pleased.
Heats up very fast! Be careful. Easy to get used to. Bought as alternative to single-burner gas or electric. I think it is much safer because it quits being hot when pan is removed. I’m quite satisfied.
I use this induction top a lot. Mostly with cast-iron ceramic-coated pans, sometimes with stainless pans rated for induction. It heats quickly, holds temperature well and wipes down after use. The shiny black surface is easy to clean (though hard to polish to smear-free, if that's your thing). This one is a keeper.
I am so excited that I came across this induction cooktop! This was exactly what I was looking for to use with my tall stockpots that don't fit well under my over the stove microwave, and for my large, 23 quart pressure canner. But, I've also discovered that's it's a great addition to my camping essentials! I hate using the gas stove top in the camper, and I can use this in the camper or outside when I need to cook in a pot or skillet...it's also great as a 5th burner in my house when I'm making a large meal and need an extra burner. It's very easy to clean, lightweight and easy to operate. I saw several other reviews that complained because it didn't work with their pans....so, please keep in mind that you do have to use flat bottom, stainless steel pans for the induction burner to operate. The unit actually has a sensor that will shut it off automatically if the wrong type of pan is placed on it. I had the product in my hands within 2 days, and it came well packaged and in perfect condition! Very happy with this purchase and would recommend to others!
I love the speed and the safety of this product. It can boil a little pot of water, enough for 4 cups of tea in little more than a minute.
OMG I dont normally plug appliances but I bought this Hinco induction cooktop I feel in love with it tonight. I made tacos using it for the first time. It heats up really really fast. I turned it on set the temperature and started dropping meat into the pot and it was already sizzling. It's got a timer so I set the timer for 10 minutes and reduced the temp to med to let it simmer for 10 minutes worked perfectly.
